When preparing for an international move, countless questions arise.
Who should I turn to? Who can I trust? What guarantees that the belongings I have collected over the years will arrive safely at their destination?
These are valid questions. And we believe the answers should be transparent.
One of those answers is our FIDI membership — but we do not want it to remain just a logo on our website. We would like to explain what it means in practice, and why it matters to you.
FIDI (Fédération Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux) is the global alliance of the international moving and relocation industry. Its members operate in more than 100 countries, united by one common principle: a commitment to quality.
However, membership alone is not enough. Companies belonging to FIDI must comply with the strict requirements of the FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover) certification — the industry’s highest-level independent quality accreditation.
Euromove & Relocations is a FAIM-certified company. This is not self-certification, nor is it marketing language.
To obtain FAIM certification, companies must comply with more than 200 quality requirements. Not once, but continuously through annual audits.
Every aspect is measured, reviewed, and documented — from administration and packing to transportation and claims handling.
This means that what we call quality is not a promise — it is a verified fact.
The certification is not issued by ourselves.
FIDI members undergo regular independent audits, currently conducted by Ernst & Young, one of the world’s leading auditing firms.
Auditors review financial records, training logs, claims statistics, operational systems, and supply chain documentation. They do not look for superficial compliance — they carry out deep and comprehensive inspections.
Imagine your shipment is in transit, and the company handling it suddenly encounters financial difficulties. This is not an impossible scenario — and it is exactly why working with a financially stable and reliable partner matters.
FIDI requires its members to prove their financial health every year. You should not have to take unnecessary risks.
When your furniture leaves Budapest and arrives in London, Dubai, or Los Angeles, we work with fellow FIDI members at destination as well.
This means the destination partner meets the same quality standards we do. The final mile is handled with the same level of care as the first.
One missing or incorrect document at the border can delay a shipment and create unnecessary complications.
FIDI members are trained to handle documentation accurately, completely, and in compliance with destination country regulations. If a customs inspection is ordered, we know how to respond — following structured, audited procedures.
FAIM certification is not only about logistics. Members must comply with FIDI’s anti-corruption and competition compliance charter, as well as data protection regulations.
Your personal information and the details of your move are entrusted to a company whose ethical operations are not only expected — but regularly audited.
Because we believe trust cannot simply be requested — it must be earned.
When someone chooses us for an international move, they are not simply choosing a transport company. They are choosing a partner they can rely on, even when they cannot personally see what is happening to their shipment along the way.
Our FIDI membership means there is an independent global system ensuring that we truly deliver what we promise.
That is our commitment. But now, it is more than a commitment — it is a proven fact.
Euromove & Relocations has been providing international moving and relocation services since 1998. As a FIDI-FAIM certified company, we transport shipments to more than 100 countries worldwide — always with the same level of care and professionalism.
