🇨🇦 Canada
• The shipment cannot be cleared until the owner has entered Canada.
• Personal presence is required at customs on arrival.
• Mandatory document: “Personal Effects Accounting Document” (Form B4 / BSF186A).
🇦🇺 Australia
• One of the strictest quarantine systems in the world (AQIS).
• Wood, wicker, plant-based items, soil traces, outdoor furniture or sports equipment may be inspected or refused.
• Customs + quarantine often take 2–3 weeks and may involve additional fees.
• Many clients choose not to ship restricted items – we advise you in advance together with our Australian partner.
🇺🇸 USA
• Containers may be subject to random examination (administrative, X-ray or full inspection – the latter may generate extra cost).
• Mandatory form: “Declaration for Free Entry of Unaccompanied Articles” (CBP 3299).
• The owner must enter the US before customs release, but personal presence is not always required.
Important: these examples cover only the most common destinations. Each country has its own customs, quarantine and entry regulations. We provide destination-specific guidance before you request a final quote.
